StyleIndentified by an “F” prefix denoting a fuse, followed by a two-digit number representing the physical dimension of the fuse.
CharacteristicIndicates the relative overload interrupt time represented by the letters, A, B, BR or C. A=Normal opening – normal interrupting capacity. B=Time delay – normal interrupting capacity. BR=Time delay – very high interrupting capacity, reject feature. C=Normal opening- very high interrupting capacity.

Glass Capacitors

Glass dielectric capacitors have been an engineer’s first choice for applications that require a capacitor that will provide extreme long term stability and reliability for over fifty years. They are available in glass or glass composition and are covered by MIL-PRF-11272 and MLF-PRF-23269 or MIL-PRF-11015 and MIL-PRF-39014 respectively.

 CY Series Glass Dielectric capacitors

Available in both axial and radial styles they offer the industry’s highest performance and maximum stability characteristics. This style of capacitor is used in aerospace, military and satellite applications which require “S” level reliability, radiation hardness and operating temperatures up to 200ºC. Capacitance values range from 0.5pF to 10,000pF with tolerances to ±0.5%. Rated voltage is from 50 to 2000 VDC, with a temperature coefficient of 140±25ppm/ºC. Operating temperature range is -75ºC to +200ºC.

 CK Series Glass-K capacitors

Available in axial styles is the perfect choice for digital systems and sensors applications where low loss and stability are required because they provide low noise and a low dielectric absorption rate. The Glass-K technology features “M” level reliability, radiation resistance and operating temperatures up to +200ºC. Capacitance values range from 270pF to 100,000pF with tolerances to ±5%. Rated voltage is from 25 to 50 VDC with three temperature characteristics =2, -10%; +2-15% and +20-45%. Operating temperature range is -75ºC to +200ºC.
